Tung Hu-ling Tai Chi Chuan
I had the honor of meeting Grandmaster Tung Hu-ling at his son's, Master Tung Kai-ying, Venice, California studio in 1978, the year I began my study of Tai Chi Chuan. Grandmaster Tung demonstrated first section of Slow Set...there is no video of the demonstration, but when I viewed the following video on YouTube I think of Grandmaster Tung's Slow Set demonstration.

Moved to Ashland, New Hampshire after purchasing a 1849 railroad freight depot, which became my studio to teach the
Tung family style Tai Chi Chuan
1984
1989 Started a daily Tai Chi Chuan journal
1994
1998
Master Tung's return to China with over 200 international students of which 22 where from New Hampshire.
2000
Traveled to Mt. Tai, China with the Masters and their students, while on top of Mt. Tai swore to practice every morning...a promise I have keep for the past 20 years.

Assistant to Darcy Cushing who host the annual Sandy Island camp.

Published "Bow to Bow" blog.
2018
Attended Master Tung Kai-ying's first Tai Chi Chuan camp La Honda, California.
1989 Started a daily Tai Chi Chuan journal
For the past 30 years I have been keeping a journal,
over 2 million words (last count), of my daily practice.
The best way I can describe my practice Tai Chi Chuan
is a daily epiphany.
After an epiphany...
comes a gradual
application
As the years have gone by
I have become more and more
dedicated to this Chinese treasure.
Hosted Master Tung's first biannual New Hampshire seminar attended by 40 students.
1998
Hosted a banquet in honor of Grandmaster Tung Ying-Chieh's centennial of his birth.

1999 Started teaching Tai Chi Kung
New Hampshire Veteran's home
one of most fulfilling classes,
because all the students
are true warriors.
