Grandmaster
Tung Hu-ling Tai Chi Chuan

I had the honor of meeting Grandmaster Tung Hu-ling at his son's, Master Tung Kai-ying, Venice, California studio in 1978, the year I began my study of Tai Chi Chuan. Grandmaster Tung demonstrated first section of Slow Set...there is no video of the demonstration, but when I viewed the following video on YouTube I think of Grandmaster Tung's Slow Set demonstration.

                            Hu-ling (tiger stalking on mountain)

For the past 30 years I have been keeping a journal,
over 2 million words (last count), of my daily practice.
The best way I can describe my practice Tai Chi Chuan
                     is a daily epiphany.
                      After an epiphany...
                 comes a gradual application
As the years have gone by
I have become more and more
                         dedicated to this Chinese treasure.
